Dr. David was born and raised in Athens, TX. He was exposed to Family Medicine through his father who is a small town Family Medicine physician. After turning 18, Dr. David took on various jobs during the summer breaks from college in the local hospital where his father would see patients. These roles included nursing assistant and ER technician. He recieved a bachelors degree with a major of Neuroscience from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX where he was a collegiate athlete on the men’s soccer team. After graduation he became a highschool science teacher for three years. Deciding to pursue a dream of becoming a physician he decided to return to his studies and completed a Master’s of Medical Sciences at UNTHSC during which he matriculated into medical school at the same campus in the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas. During medical school Dr. David worked as tutor in the anatomy lab and then in his second year as an osteopathic manipulative medicine teaching assistant. He recieved his Family Medicine training at Texas Tech University Health Science Center Amarillo, TX and joined the Well Life Family Medicine team after graduating from residency. When not practicing medicine he enjoys raising two kids with his wife Carrie, church, soccer, physical fitness, and woodworking.
